Being that the system is truly backwards compatible, I feel you should invest in the original.

BIO SHOCK

This was exclusive for a year and by the time it made it to the PS3 it had already made its mark in gaming history.  One should get this game.

GEARS of  WAR

This game needs no explanation this generation.

XBL Gold Membership

Your going to have spend a little to play your games online, but you will enjoy a nice gaming community.

DEAD SPACE

Amazing.

CALL of DUTY 4 MODERN WARFARE

Proven on either system.  If you love shooters, you’ll love this game.  If you’re new to shooters you’ll love this game.

STREET FIGHTER IV

Even though I’m having issues with the PS3 controller so I don’t invision you getting real serious with this game with the Xbox’s mushy d-pad, but with all the peripherals for this game one should invest in a fight pad or an arcade stick to master the greatness that is SF.

FALL OUT 3

Great game and with the exclusive DLC coming to the Xbox, just another reason what makes this a multiplatform title to own on this system.

FABLE

Some say, “it’s better than the sequel”, but you make the call.  I say, “play the first to understand the story of the second.”

FABLE II

People said RPG’s wouldn’t work on the 360, they were wrong. Get this game.

All those games except Fable II are full of fail.

The others i can play on PS3 but imo dont like them to begin with so...lol..

hey man we should so play halo against each other, and give a shot of the 2 fallout 3 exp (which were the point of the decision) and finally. We should also play gears each other on our ps3... oh wat no we cant.

Also as some others has said, why do they need to be exclusive, the list was top 10 must have games for the xbox,xbox 360. Not exclusive games for the systems.

To topic, in my opinion i would have orange box in there over the membership... thats just me, orange box is an amazing deal, and prob take either fable and put in lost odyssey, my reasoning it is the first JRPG on the 360 done correctly, well amazingly and maybe mass effect. That is just my opinion though :)

I've played or own most of the games on that list so I can't complain. I just don't know if I'd put them on my top 10.

Wow, a stark reminder of why I don't have a 360 and the only Xbox in the house belongs to my roommate. Fable 2 is the only game listed there that isn't playable elsewhere, and it's pathetic to even think of online play as game even though it's going to deprive you of one annually. Oh, and isn't lovely how the author points out that one of the games listed, SF4, might be a poor option unless you're willing to plop down the cost of a full game to get a semi-special controller?

Granted, there are other titles that could have/should have been listed instead, but this really does nothing but reinforce my stance that the 360 isn't necessary at all. Whenever I see a game that makes me say "oh good, now there's a reason for me to own a 360" all I have to do is wait a few months until I can say "oh good, the reason to own a 360 just got ported." Most recently this happened with Braid. I know the controller is fantastic as long as you don't have to use the D-pad (really, really good feeling controller), but I just can't see one good reason to justify purchasing a 360 when there are only a handful of true exclusives and none of them even tickle my fancy.
