People will also make up excuses for mario, saying hotel mario is not a real mario, same with the CDI zeldas. But they are. If you are to say sonic sucks now what changed, same other series, because the teams changed, why can't you for hotel mario, different team... Still mario.

Let me put it this way:

The original question was about Nintendo's games.  You brought up something not made by Nintendo (the bolded games).  So what does that have to do with Nintendo?

No, original question had 2 meanings.

1 was asking could nintendo still innovate. No one can answer is, this requires absolute knowledge of the future.

The second meaning was about why series went bad when mario stayed the same. It was him asking why other series failed, and mario didn't. Problem is, all series have bad games, and it's not from the developers. Normally it's from different teams. Sonic went bad, when team changed, same with crash, same with other series. The original developers to a lot of series you hear failing are off making great games, original guy who made first sonics is making uncharted and jak games for example.

Just stop digging.

Yes. I can't think of a single reason why Nintendo would stop making the best 2-D and 3-D platformers.

You then named a game that was not made by Nintendo.

Claude called you out on it.

Now you are trying to claim it doesn't matter?  I call BS.  What other developers do has no bearing on the quality of Nintendo developed games.

No what happened was he never read my post, then tryed to call me out on it. He said "x is now bad" like nothing can change. Like the developers obviously stay the same the whole way through. I call OP out on how stupid that is, and a lot of nintendo mario made games were not good.

No I didn't. I pointedout that what you said was both irrelevant and incorrect. You're not denying this, you're just backpedaling. Just admit that you were wrong. The deeper you bury yourself, the harder it's going to be when you come clean.

After Galaxy, I lose no faith haha. I mean generally you don't get that much better, but Galaxy was just amazing. Keep up the good work Nintendo.
