I dont notice but if you got the cash and have a 1080p tv, go HDMI. Much less wires clogging up your entertainment center.

There was talks that 1080p would be limited to HDMI only as a copy protection scheme in BR movies, but I am not sure what happened to that.



Getting an XBOX One for me is like being in a bad relationship but staying together because we have kids. XBone we have 20000+ achievement points, 2+ years of XBL Gold and 20000+ MS points. I think its best we stay together if only for the MS points.

Nintendo Treehouse is what happens when a publisher is confident and proud of its games and doesn't need to show CGI lies for five minutes.

most devices (and I'm fairly sure the PS3 is included) follow this scheme of only going up to 1080i via component cable.

 




If you drop a PS3 right on top of a Wii, it would definitely defeat it. Not so sure about the Xbox360. - mancandy

Go for HDMI, but pick any HDMI you want, because they are all the same, TRUST ME!!!!

yeah!. i got hdmi blacks look much better, and setting the ps3 to full and superwhite on helps alot.

i also set my samsung HDMI black levels, everything looks nice.

Your Sony Fanboy card should be revoked.

You should also know from countless threads on what you should pay for hdmi cable.

i played on component my old tv didn't have HDMI i could play on HD in the living room TV =P.

i bought a 20$ one.

I played PS3 with a component cable and now with an HDMI cable on an LCD TV and I have to say HDMI looks much nicer. I would go for it.

i had hdmi cable, but last weekend it died...

 

i don't no why, but now i have to play with the component again. it's terrible. if you lose hdmi, you know what you had with it..
