What im trying to say is that he shouldn't get it imported, and warranty is important, if you get an imported one then the warranty is useless.

i also forgot to add Austrailia, but i know India import it.

I would say they are pretty good now, this is about the 4th Xbox 360 revision and the console itself uses half the power that the original revision used.

I usually buy most of my stuff on amazon and ship it to an adress in miami where I have a sky box. They then foward it to me. If push comes to shove I can always do the reverse (I did it once when i got a faulty Ultra Power supply) but it turned out to be really expensive so I'd rather not.

All electronics are a gamble. I was just making sure that amazon had new stock so i wouldn't run the risk of getting one of the older pre jasper models.

I didn't have warranty on my Xbox, but I lied and said it had the RROD to get it fixed free and it worked. Just buy it, theres always a way to get around the restrictions.

I really shouldn't care too much. It's for my sister's boyfriend. He was a big Halo freak on the xbox and I guess he's ready to "jump in".

me not so much yet, the only game i want on the 360 is fable since i loved the first one. I'm kinda hopin it gets announced for the PC but so far nothing yet. I may still buy it and borrow his 360

Its hard to say if Fable 2 will make it to PC. Microsoft heard the mantra of 'its coming to PC anyway' and responded by not releasing the games on the PC. Cite Gears 2, Halo 3 for examples of this.

anyway, no problem... Always glad to help. I was following the Jasper searchers last year and Amazon cycled through the stock pretty quick once it became available.

i dont think Fable 2 is designed to be on PC anyways, its selling alot on Xbox 360 , the old one didnt sell well on Xbox so they decided to port it to PC.

about Gears, its up to Epic , if they wanted one they make it, im sure they saw the first one on PC didnt do well , so they will stick to X360.

and lastly halo we might see a PC release after they release a new one on X360. Maybe after ODST?
