Sorry...I'm not a Mortal Kombat type of guy...I've never bought a MK game and it never Appealed to me...I just don't find it fun and the game play to me was always so far below Capcom games...Even far Below SNK games which had heavy ups and downs with the exception of the Fatal Fury Series...(Fatal Fury Real bout Special FTW) And I was not joking about Midway trying to Sell the MK brand...My Dream Is Guilty Gear Vs Plasma Sword That would kick ASS and any of the Companies would make it a great game...

Plus Activision is making another Ultimate Alliance game and this one is based on the Secret War and Civil War storylines, which take place in the traditional Marvel Universe, not the Ultimate one.

Maybe the Marvel license is under contract to multiple publishers, unlike the movie licenses. I know Naruto works that way, as do many sports licenses.

I know i'm going to be in the minority when I say this, but I wish they were remixing the game. If any Capcom fighter needed remixing this is it. MvC2 is one of the most broken fighters ever released by Capcom. The balance is terrible. I had a blast playing the game but the bulk of the roster is useless because badly imbalanced the game is. Not to mention the fact that I was annoyed by the old recycled sprites when the game released and now they are decade older.

Yeah, but for one thing, the broken-ness is what gives it its charm.

For another thing, if Capcom decided to remix this, it would take a LONG LONG LONG time to remix balance, and tes all 56 characters.

I say, leave it how it is, change the music, add netcode.

Ok, but are you willing to wait another 4 years for your remixed version? I'm not. If they release this in the Summer they can do whatever they want then and work on one for all I care. If it ever does finish, I will pick it up yet again.
