If this does well, do you think it will bring about a Marvel vs Capcom 3?

It's definitely possible. I can't be certain, but I believe the director of Street Fighter IV said the demand of the SFII titles over Xbox Live was a convincing factor for Capcom to greenlight the project.

From what I heard CapCom would have to regain the License...It would be awesome to see them be able to do it..Hopefully with the Cell Shade Graphics that Tatsunoku Vs Capcom has...A Vs game that they can't publish in america due to the tatsunoku characters having diffrent publishers in america..It's the most awesome Wii game there is

Don't multiple publishers have the license now? I don't think Activision is involved in the new Marvel MMOs being made. I could be wrong though. In any case, I doubt it would be tough to wiggle for Marvel if they wanted Capcom to have it back enough for that game. Frankly, outside of the X-Men Legends and Marvel Ultimate Alliance set of titles, Activision has done nothing but shit on both licenses. Sega hasn't done much better with their licenses thus far.

Edit: Forgot about Incredible Hulk: Ultimate Destruction. That game was ace.

A completely new one with DMC, RE or Onimusha characters besides the old ones would be EPIC. I want to live until the day they make it.

An Onimusha character appears in Tatsunoku Vs Capcom I think he is from Onimusha tactics....

I don't know for sure but I hope Capcom have the ability to do it...I must say i first heard of the license loss when that ps2 3d fighting game came out..Evolution or something..it was ok but not very well Polished....I also  feel that if capcom does need go get a license agreement Marvel would probly want a lot more than capcom would think it's worth...

Sounds promising on the Street Fighter vs Marvel 3, but i wont get my hopes up.

Street Fighter vs Mortal Kombat will always be my dream

I wish that the announcement was for Tatsunoku Vs Capcom coming to PS3/360 or coming to the us for the wii sometime soon. But I love marvel vs capcom 2 and its only $15 considering if you were to go buy it some where you would pay over $60.

Capcom said they are working on the license problem with the tatsunoku studio characters..I played that game the other day..My friend has some MOD software on his Wii that let's him play Ripped games

That is just discusting...MK is the worst and Midway is practically giving it away to whomever wants to buy it....Although If capcom where to develop it, it would defenetly play well.....But that's a sick dream

I believe Capcom has the Marvel license.  Activision has the 'Ultimate' universe license.  The movie even though based on the normal Marvel universe carries its own license.

Are you sure about that? I've played Marvel Ultimate Alliance and Nick Fury is definitely not the Ultimate Universe version. He's still a white guy with greying brown hair. In the Ultimate universe, he's Samuel L. Jackson. Plus, classic Marvel costumes are available in Ultimate Alliance.

Yes I played it to. Its so awsome. I was surprised to see batsu from rival schools in that game. Capcom never puts him in any games.
