More hardcore collectors than hardcore fans. Hardcore fans would want to play the game through and through. I see nothing wrong with these folks, they just have a different view of video game collecting. Personally I would not buy a sealed Chrono Trigger for $500, but if someone wants to, great, if I ever have one I know who to sell it to. |
a sealed chrono went for $1200+ ;)

Masturbation does not count :)
I've been to the forums and they're not too shabby. I also collect sealed stuff but its Knight Ride merchandise although I have sealed copies of Knight Rider the Game and its sequel. I bought them twice.
Manchester United 2008-09 Season - Trophies & Records
I usually buy my stuff sealed, relatively cheaply, but I just couldn't afford two copies of the same game, lol. I wish I had a ton of sealed games, but ya know, I'd probably just sell em for profit! :D
I don't need your console war.
It feeds the rich while it buries the poor.
You're power hungry, spinnin' stories, and bein' graphics whores.
I don't need your console war.
NO NO, NO NO NO.
Interesting site. However, what is the sense of buying or collecting a "sealed" game. You can't play it if it's sealed. I hate when people turn a hobby in to a money making thing. That is why there are copies of Metal Gear Solid 1 sealed on ebay for $100+.
Old star wars figures should be kept sealed as collectors items.
Not game
You can trade your game within 8 days. I can understand why someone only wants to buy a sealed game. Some retailers are selling used games. I've bought a scratched game once. I've changed it for an other and still not sealed.
