Forums - Gaming Discussion - sealed game discussions

I know this is a bit of a taboo subject amongst the general gaming community, but it's news all the same, and may interest the small minority to whom it applies.

A new forum site has recently just been set up aimed at collector's who prefer to collect factory sealed video-games, called Sealed Game Heaven ( http://forum.sealedgameheaven.com , http://www.sealedgameheaven.com ), and has already so far been reported on by Kotaku.com; InsertCredit.com; And so on ...

The forum features in-depth guides and discussions regarding sealed games from all regions, as well as useful information regarding what to look out for, as well as the differences between factory seals and reseals. It also has another section where members have posted pictures of their impressive sealed game collections for your viewing pleasure!

The forum is predominantly English and German, with area's for discussions in both languages. Even if you are not a fan of this unique collecting phenomenon, it may still fascinate you or even provide enlightenment!

Are these people gamers who buy extra sealed copies for collecting or just pure collecting?

i never see the point of buying stuff i wont use, and if i liked collecting things i would chhose something cheap, or free.... or "cheap as free toys" from homestarrunner

Boo. Games are for playing. If you want to build a collection of your played games, go ahead...but I don't understand collecting games that never get played...unless you own two of each copy I suppose...but then I don't care because you're obviously too rich for your own good.

LEFT4DEAD411.COM
Bet with disolitude: Left4Dead will have a higher Metacritic rating than Project Origin, 3 months after the second game's release.  (hasn't been 3 months but it looks like I won :-p )

Or you devote all of your money to games and hold back on costs of food, and clothing. You often see people ill-prioritise their money.

Everytime I see someone with a post count of 1 talking about an obscure site it almost feels like spam...

I collect factory sealed products too. Usually I obtain a lot of the same kind though.
My buyers then come and buy them from me at a discounted rate from retail. Getting it all past the security guards can be tough sometimes.

I'm just kidding.

The rEVOLution is not being televised

I have to agree with ben kenobi.

i generally find people who just jump into a forum and start a topic irritating [kinda like soriku...too many topics, though im used to soriku].... This one seems an interesting topic though, even if it's basically advertising a website [is that allowed?... because i was going to make a thread about what people here use the internet for.... which would be basically me posting sites like weebls-stuff and homestarrunner... would that be allowed?]

Who knows if the OP will even return or if he's just going around forums spreading this site...but whatever...I figured some people might want to discuss.
