Just wanting to know of any games you guys might have played that the reviews it got where not so good, but you absolutly LOVE it??  Please also give a genre of the game and a mini review of what you think of it.

Star Trek CONQUEST - Wii

Genre: Strategy

My opinion:  I picked up STC for just $20AUS at eb a few months ago thinking I love Star Trek and Strategy so what the heck!!!  Upon playing it I found myself addicted to the basics of gameplay yet the overwhelming difficulty of trying to conquor 5 other superpower races.

It's such a basic game overall and there isn't much you can really build or do but it was this simplicity which has me loving this game.

While reviewers gave this game a really LOW score, I give this a 8/10 for it's addictivness and fun I get out of it.

Folklore - PS3

Genre: AJRPG

My Opinion: The first JRPG for the PS3 it was a great one that was overlooked and scored unjustly, well besides IGN's 9 out of 10 but whatever. its the most recent game i find overlooked and underrated.

X2 - The Threat (PC)

Genre - Space Sim

My Opinion: This game is a charm!!!  It's like your standard space sim game where you buy and sell goods, take on missions, get better ships and weapons etc.... but this game takes it to the extreme!!!

This game allows you to buy Mining platforms, space stations, power plants etc. which will also generate you income!  On top of that, you can buy an unlimited number of ships and give then orders to "Buy low sell high", transport, and even join you fleet when you go fighting!!!  You can even buy those massive capital and command crusers which are flippen huge.

The story line to this game is also fantastic!  I give this game a 8.8/10 (average was in the low 6's by others)

One gripe I have with this game is the controles of the damn ship are almost a nightmare... if only they used a controle meathod similar to Freelancer, this game would have gotten a 9.5/10 from me!!!

Army Men: Sarge's Heroes 2

It has a 48% on Gamerankings and I loved it!

Halo 3 sorrry had to say it cause the multiplayer is top notch and everyone says its crap but its my favorite FPS to date (besides maybe halo 2)

I assume by low scoring tc means games that were panned by critics.
why not post the scores they got as well?

How is that game low-scoring?  It has several perfect scores and 90+ at most all the major review websites.  It's an example of a great game with lower-than-deserved sales but not scores.

Red Steel.

It is pure garbage.

But I love, it was my first Wii FPS. The new way to play - buggy, but the new way - and I had a blast with it.

Game: No One Lives Forever (PS2)

Genre: FPS

Opinion: Its a great game with a fair number of unique weapons and such for its time. It got great reviews on the PC but bad/mixed on the PS2. It is really worth a play.
