For those who are saying that Sony is losing money on this, didn't MS lose a considerable amount of money to penetrate into the console market? Why is Sony investing for the long term if they just want to step out of the gaming industry after this gen?

You really think the OP was expecting people to not get riled up over this? Did he really think that the question was realistic, and would start a meaningful discussion, rather than a flame war?
