It's for free, since you only need to use the Doll's Soul and not pay him extra souls as will happen when you upgrade certain weapons at Blacksmith Ed, in there you'll need the demon's souls and extra souls for him to upgrade ;)

Well, I would exchange the Soul for Warding, it's the single best defensive spell in the game, and it will help you a lot in most boss fights ;)

As for the other souls, you'll need to plan accordingly to what spells/weapons you want to have in your first playthrough, since some souls have 4 different uses, that's why to get the Platinum trophy, people have to play this game at least 4 times.

Heres the thing. If I unlock all spells and miracles now, will they be unlocked from the start on NG+?

 

Cause I could do that on my first playthrough and worry about weapons on NG+.

You can, everything that you unlock in any NG is passed into the next NG+, except for keys and NPC's ;)

Got my PS3 back again today, and I'm very glad to find out that I didn't lost my trophies! :D I still have the 50% in Demon's Souls xD Ah well, going to do a few laps in GT T.T and get right back on the Demon's Souls train :P

Also, last night I lost 12k souls

I was farming in 4-1 and those damn silver skeletons got me. They act a certain way then I fight another and he acts different and I get screwed (actually I got stuck between him and some rocks)

I want to get Warding, but it costs 2 slots and I need Soul Arrow (I only have 2 slots so far).

Tomorrow is PW WT day so Im gonna be online then.

Question - DO I get a lot of souls for the red dragon on 1-2? Cause I can only seem to hit him with my bow and its gonna take like 300 of them to kill it (if all of them hits lol)

You got to be very careful when fighting more than one Silver Skeleton at a time, the best technique you can use to avoid that situation is to Kite each one individually and fight them one-to-one.

Last night I did a single run with my Thief, until I defeated Phalanx. The difficulty difference between NG and NG+ it's massive, now NG looks very easy :P

I'll be online too tommorrow, going to try to do all PW WT in one go, even though it will be very difficult to do so >_

For the Red Dragon you'll get over 15K souls, since you get both the souls for defeating him, and a Special Soul which you can use to boost your Soul count (his souls isn't used for anything else). http://demonssouls.wikidot.com/ds-small-flame-scale

You won't need 300 arrows, 110 is the minimum required to kill him at 15 Dexterity, you just need to make sure you hit him xD Bring 150 just to be sure, and find a spot on the first tower where you can snipe him in the best possible fashion.

Thanks. It will be annoying though ( I only have 12 Dexterity as well)

If you want i'll help you defeat him xD Both of us with Bow's can do some good damage to him (Although it would be nicer if both had Clever Rat Rings equipped, that ring almost doubles you attack power when you're at

That Ring, coupled with the Morion Blade in the off-hand, which has a similar effect, can put you into hyper mode xD In NG+ I was doing 820 damage to the Blue Dragon with a Viscous Compound Long Bow +5 and both the attack boosts of the CRR and the Morion Blade

I have the Clever Rat Ring. I will use it then. But not the Morion Blade.

The Morion Blade can only be obtained if you level up a type of Straight Sword like the Bastard Sword from 1-1 to +8 and then use the Storm King Soul (The Archdemon from 4-3)

I forgot to ask. When I go to NG+ all my equipmetn go too? As in everythinng I leave with Stockpile Thomas, all the weapons I already got (including ones I already upgrades a bit).

Cause if so, I dont have to make a list of whats missing. I can just keep playing and I will worry about finishing it on my 3rd playthrough or something
