It's very simple. Just answer one question:

Do you want to play Nintendo games? SSBB, Mario Galaxy, Zelda, etc.

If you say "Yes, of course" then get the Wii. If you say "Maybe" or "Not really" then get the PS3.

Definately Wii for motion ctrl and exclusives, and secondly PS3 for the Sony exlusives that are virtually gauranteed to not be on anything else but PS3 or PSP.

If you have a gaming PC then I think a 360 isn't worth it. I even joke with my mates that I use my PC for my "X-box exclusives". There just isn't enough that differentiates the 360 from PC in my mind.

Personally I prefer the PC/PS3 combo. Although it all depends on your gaming preference. So having said that I would recommend that you either get a Wii or PS3.
Although if you have an LCD hi def tv I would definitely recommend a PS3.
