tons of puzzle games have stories and no death, there are even tetrisgames with stories. Meteos comes to mind as a better example, or even Puyo pop.

there are also point and click games that do not revolve around death like the Strongbad games.

others on here have mentioned more....

Death is a natural part of life. Of course it's going to be in videogames, as with most works of fiction or anythign else.

Unless you're talking about gore, and murder?

does it matter? any game could be linked to death because death is the opposite of life



I mostly play RTS and Moba style games now adays as well as ALOT of benchmarking. I do play other games however such as the witcher 3 and Crysis 3, and recently Ashes of the Singularity. I love gaming on the cutting edge and refuse to accept any compromises. Proud member of the Glorious PC Gaming Master Race. Long Live SHIO!!!!

wow good question. I can only think in fighting games. You don't kill them just defeat them AND each character has an story.

Flower is another great example. Very beautiful story, and no death.

And besides, the point isn't games without murder, it's games without a focus on people dying. And MGS... just looking at MGS4, Liquid, Big Mama, Big Boss, Naomi, Vamp, the B&B Corps...

The Donkey Kong's for the Snes, no one ever dies they just run away,and when you fall down a hole it just takes too much time to get back up.

Toy Story for the Snes
TMNT 4 turtles in time for the Snes, Robots can not die.
Earth Bound Snes, you defeat foes not kill.
Cool Spot Snes (the 7up game)


These are just from the Snes, if you really look, many games do not involve the Concept of "Death" at all, as it would mean a higher rating.
