I'm talking about a game with a story. Games use the crutch of murder in their stories. Like the majority of crappy TV fair no suspense can be induced without the threat of death.

Is there anything out there that does not follow this formula.

Do you consider all racing and car driving games to be sports?

Oh, Pokemon doesn't have any deaths in it. Well, there ya go!

Do you consider robots able to be killed? In Sonic games, the only things that ever cease to exist are robots. In fact, by destroying the robots, you save the animals that were stuck inside of them.

I'd put Sonic under the "no death" games.

Bunch of RPGs (not every one uses death as a main theme/crutch. Yeah a lot of characters die, so what? You have to beat the bad guys after all :3) like Paper Mario or KH or Pokemon, etc...

Lol wut? The only deaths in any pokemon game, ever, weren't even in the games. They were just a few people at graveyards who were mourning over the pokemon they had lost.
