I used to love them all...but I fond most boring now that i play Halo 3 a lot. Its hard to match the fun factor of that game.

Duke nukem, Quake, counterstrike are great too tho...but the late fps games kinda bore me.

Have you tried TF2?

Quake Live is also pretty cool, though quite intense to the point that I can't play for too long consecutively. Maybe I'm just getting old...

Just asking.

I used to, but after Cod4 it all changed.

On rail shooters like CoD bores me,Fun games like L4Deezy how ever are very fun.

I don't hate FPS - but I only need 1 or two a generation not 3 dozen a year. Last gen all I played was Unreal Tournament 2004 and was quite happy with that.

I do hate dual analog controls for FPS and my laptop can't run anything better than Unreal 2004 anyway. So I'm looking forward to the Conduit as being my main FPS for this gen (hope it lives up to the hype).

of course I do especially when played on the consoles...
but for the PC... I love Half-Life and nothing else!

PLAYSTATION®2 is the yesterday.....NOW.......still......A_L_I_V_E

I dislike them more then hate them.

The ones that I can play are those that are made for single player or local.

Multiplayer online? them I can't stand.

If it isn't turnbased it isn't worth playing   (mostly)

And shepherds we shall be,

For Thee, my Lord, for Thee. Power hath descended forth from Thy hand, That our feet may swiftly carry out Thy command. So we shall flow a river forth to Thee And teeming with souls shall it ever be. In Nomine Patris, et Filii, et Spiritūs Sancti. -----The Boondock Saints

I love them. Sometimes I even beat the crappy ones. Pure action, little story, its good old fashion fun.

No, I don't. I used to spend hours playing Quake online back when I had a 56 kbps modem with 200+ pings. If you like a game enough to play with 200+ ping it must mean you really like it.

Quake 3 on the Dreamcast was a very laggy but awesome experience. You had to completely adjust your timing compared to playing offline.

I loved FPS games when they were new (80's?) and find I enjoy one every once in a while but they are all so similar that very few stand out to me.

My Favorites would be:

Wolfenstein 3D
Doom 95
Halo (1, not 2 or 3)
CoD 4

Currently dreaming of: DKC4 or Sonic the Hedgehog 4 (classic 2D platformers) for WiiWare, Smash Bros. for DSi, New Super Mario World for DSi, a Wii remake or true sequel of Final Fantasy Tactics.

One down, hopefully more awesomeness to come.

I am not a FPS guy, but I do enjoy an occasional game of Quantum of Solace online. Most FPS are so boring! I do own Rainbow Six:Vegas as well, but it rarely gets played.
