I think the MGS series takes this crown.Why do you think?

FFVIII, If only just for the intro, but everything else is good as well.

Well, I'd say the same thing since I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THE MGS SERIES but, I'm at conflict with myself. The best gaming soundtrack, for me, would have to go to Shadow of the Colossus. That game was filled with epicness that I can't even describe with words. Perhaps with dance lol.

Guidelines to understanding my train of thought:

  • THE METAL GEAR SOLID FRANCHISE IS THE BEST THING TO HIT THE PLANET SINCE THE PS3!! THUS, MGS FRANCHISE >> SLICED-BREAD.
  • Solid Snake shall and well always shove 1up mushrooms up Mario's ass.
  • Solid Snake shall and well always decimate Master Chief with a flurry of rocket launchers, shotgun rounds, and a 20 minute monologue.

Silent hill series
Final fantasy series
MGS series

Final Fantasy is goodbut MGS 2 intro music is jst too good

@RED53DEVIL S

Wasn't it speculated that the intro from MGS2 was plagiarised? Regardless, that particular theme was amazing.

MGS Series, FF IV, VI, VIII-X, Valkyria Chronicles, Persona 3&4, DDS1&2, SMT: Nocturne (and others by Shoji Meguro), Most games that have Motoi Sakuraba as composer...
