Starcraft, you're a funny guy. Why do you care so much about the PS3 and its relatively few successes? Why bother with all your threads aimed to belittle the machine? Really, go play some games instead of pseudo-trolling, or just plain trolling. Enough of the inflammatory posts aimed to provoke the PS3 userbase, already.

Anyway, to answer the OP, so as not to derail this quality thread: I was very surprised at the PS3 sales this week in Japan, and have revised my expectations up, not down. I'd be surprised if any person not rabidly anti-PS3 wouldn't so the same.

we don't know if it's FF7 or FF13 that gave us this awesome week.

1.9 - 2.0 milion first week

PS3 games tend to do better first week than there ps2 counterparts

(MGS4,YAKUZA3,RE5...etc)

How much of the hardware boost was caused by the FF7 special edition PS3? I don't really see what's so special about this hardware boost unless this is clarified.
