They will both stay. MS had no problems to lose Billions until now so why should they go ? They should at least get their money back. And Sony made big money in the Past and the PS3 will be profitable the next years. As we see on the WII its not necessary to increase the performance of consoles every generation with the faktor 10. Sony invested a lot of money in the PS3 and with this basis its easy to make a PS4. They both would be really stupid if they would quit.

Sony and Microsoft are both outsiders to the gaming industry with the intention of dominating it. This means destroying each other while trying to wipe out all foundational members. Sega went down first and next is Nintendo.

-Sony wants revenge on Nintendo for not letting them steal from them.
-Microsoft wants to take out Sony
-Sony wants to act like Microsoft doesn't exist and taunt Nintendo.

I want MS out of the game. Not because of Sony compition and I like Sony better. Actually I don't like either very much, but I have other reasons.

They are screwers of software game makers. A majority of PC game developers that MS has acquired over the years has been substantial. The idea that these developers sold themselves to MS is because of security. They can continue to make games they like. This however has been proven to be a gross abuse by MS. A majority of PC developers that have been redirected to 360 have been shutdown. These companies are not being redirected or absorbed. MS is single handedly damaging gaming in general. These once PC developers forced to 360 are not given a second chance.

There are too many companies with briliant ideas and masterful and crafting works of art. That have ended up producing reruns or games they don't want to make.

Seriously Bungie had some good games before Halo.

Go away MS get out of console gaming or at least stop trying to turn PC developers into console developers.

Squilliam: On Vgcharts its a commonly accepted practice to twist the bounds of plausibility in order to support your argument or agenda so I think its pretty cool that this gives me the precedent to say whatever I damn well please.
