Last year's game of the year turned out to be Silent Hill : Shattered Memories (online GOTY was COD 6).  This year's GOTY leader to me is Heavy Rain.

When its all said and done, yes. Definitely the best hardware of any console, it oozes with quality.

No. It has the potential at the end of the gen to become the best console ever.

At this moment, the PS3 is the best system I've owned due to it's technical prowess. As for the fun factor, it's just as good. Overall, the PS3 is a monster of a system but, I wouldn't call it the best system. That honor goes to the PS2.

lol no. It's a great console, but definitely not the best.  To me that's reserved for the Wii (mainly because it can play GC games and more) and the Super Nintendo.
