That should make 500K first week ant 1M lifetime... not so bad, but not so good either.

Very very good; especially in such a slow period; I hope it makes 1m+ lifetime in Japan and that it comes in Europe in less than 4 years.

I've just been looking at the recent FF releases in Japan and Crisis Core figures look favourable alongside them.

FFXII: Revenant Wings on the DS - 288k in the first week and 531k over the last 20 weeks

FFCC: Ring of Fates on the DS - 196k in the first week and 310k over the last 3 weeks

FFIII remake on the DS - 513k in the first week and 1m over the last 55 weeks

FF Tactics: The Lion War on the PSP - 51k in the first week and 300k over the last 18 weeks

FFII remake on the PSP - 39k in the first week and 70k over the last 14 weeks

FFI remake on the PSP - 51k in the first week and 128k over the last 21 weeks

Prediction (June 12th 2017)

Permanent pricedrop for both PS4 Slim and PS4 Pro in October.

PS4 Slim $249 (October 2017)

PS4 Pro $349 (October 2017)

Interesting, let's see if it can exceed FFIII first week sales.

I agree with ioi - First Week sales should hit 475-500k first week.

Very good for the PSP. Could hit 1m if it had some legs.

Back from the dead, I'm afraid.

A quick rundown, and simplified text from the site (in Engrish):

The commemorative title Crisis Core - FFVII, which opens the season of the PSP-2000 which launched alongside the game. As for the number of first day sales, 290,000 units were sold and 60,000 of the Limited Edition were also sold, for a total of 350,000 units. This start becomes the highest start with the PSP for the Final Fantasy series, with only FFIII selling higher, and PSP's MHP2 selling 510,000 first day.
This puts Crisis Core at #2 both for FF Handheld openings, and #2 for the PSP alltime.

First day sales account for roughly 70% of the total shipment, and the game is expected to sell 1 million copies.

Unfortunately it will last until any Dragon Quest hit the DS.

It sayed FF not DQ , so please read it again ... Also nice work for a PSP FF game :D I expect this selling over the million , and having much batter legs than MHF2 , I expect this to reach 2 million lifetime in Japan alone , and 4-6 million worldwide :D

 Oooops, sorry.

I hope this game comes sometime soon to Europe. Although I'll most probably import it from the US as soon as it's released. Tell me something: this game is a prequel and it's action-RPG. Have you heard if it's good?
