schumi plz respect the man he is/was the king

King of chumps maybe. Any time he was challenged by another great driver in a great car he got his ass beat. Shumi would be nothing without Fia/Ferrari cheeting.

Senna is and for a long time will be the greatest ever!!!

... only because he died on the circuit ...

With a bad car you cant win in the f1

No, its becasue he out drove the competition Shumi just had the better car and Fia favoritism.

a boring snorefest of a robot, what other drive had it written into his contract that hes #1 and the teammate had to do everythign to help him win.

Having Rubbens slow down and let Shumni the chump pass him = most embarrassing F1 moment.

I´m not a Schumi fan or a F1 fan (eventhough I live on the same village as Schumi did and met him.... briefly on the street... one of my few celebrity encounters) still I think he deserves respect, he was a great diver and having the best car doesn´t change that, working as a team to get one man on top may not seen fair to everyone but thats a team decision. Personally I liked Hakkinen most, I just think he´s a cool guy and a great driver as well.

I am a huge fan of Raikkonen and McLaren, it was great when they were together, still a fan of him at Ferrari. This whole season I have been wondering how McLaren cars ALL OF A SUDDEN became the most reliable in F1 after being one of the least reliable, which in turn has cost Raikkonen his chance of a driver's title these last two years!!! Interesting, I dont see how they could have just pulled off a complete 180 in one season, and if they find that the cars do happen to carry technology taken from another company illegally, then I dont see how it is fair to the other drivers for Alonso and Hamilton to keep all their points, but oh well. I really like Hamilton too btw, but I hate Alonso wih ALL MY PASSION!!!

They had several developments, so its not as if it was within a few days, and I think its also due to ferraris reliability suffering, I mean last year Schumi went out with a blown engine, for like the first time in 4 years, so I definately think it is the combination of the 2. And like jman8, it isn't that unusual. I certainly remember BAR being within the points virtually very race.

Maybe it’ll turn out that those who disagree with you actually have a solid grasp of the facts. There’s a slight possibility that, after all, you’re the one who’s wrong.

The F1 demo that I tried for PS3, has some spectacular graphics, tho as there were only 2 tracks, I could give you my opinion on it lol, but from what I've played it was very good.

@ WEWdeadeye , same here , might have something to do with that i live in Finland :p

@jman8 , well you have it all there in Fia link celine posted, most vital was the e-mail exchange between Alonso and Petro, example they knew in one race when Kimi was gonna stop so...

Also jman8 there wont be pulling outs before Bernie stops manouvering this whole "circus" like it is called :p

@Hus, so you are saying that Kimi and at some point Massa can't drive as good ?

@kirby007 Schumi was aa great driver, but without impressive car that was built around him, not Felippe he wouldn't be that great

@Hus and kirby007 , i remember many times Mika Häkkinen (Haekkinen like it is spelled some other countries), challenging Schumi with inferior car and winning, it was season 2000, if i remember correctly

@KillerMan , heh agreed, he wasn't "gentleman" on the track like some ones like say

@Hus, yep like i said car was built around Schumi and Felippe's job was to slow down other's or do something like that :(

This does say all the there is to say about this topic anymore: http://www.formula1.com/news/headlines/2007/9/6775.html

"Emails between Coughlan, de la Rosa and Alonso formed part of the new evidence that prompted Thursday’s second hearing into the affair... The emails covered topics such as the weight distribution and braking system of Ferrari’s car, a flexible rear wing design and a gas used by the Italian team to inflate its tyres. They also suggested that Stepney had fed Coughlan real-time information on Ferrari’s pit stop strategy in this year’s Australian Grand Prix.

The findings contradict previous claims from McLaren that the Ferrari data had not spread beyond suspended chief designer Mike Coughlan, who allegedly received it from former Ferrari engineer Nigel Stepney."

Nothing's cheaper than something free.

F1 vs FOTA, when too much power is in couple peoples hands.

---------------------------------------------------------------

On a sidenote, Sony has not renewed is F1 exclusive license . Could we see EA getting another crack @ F1 games ??
F1 games have been exclusive to PS2,PSP and PS3 since 2003.

Heeeeyyyy!!!! <Snap>

With rumors of polyphony making a F1 game, have fun Ea.

Hopefully that rumor about Polyphony Digital making a F1 game is true.

I remember when Damon Hill almost won the 1997 Hungarian grand prix in the piece of scrap that was the arrows by out driving everyone on the track. Alas though due to hydraulic problem he only came second. But it proves you can still do things by being a better driver.
