Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Do you intend to buy Punch-Out!!?

Hell yes.

If it isn't turnbased it isn't worth playing   (mostly)

And shepherds we shall be,

For Thee, my Lord, for Thee. Power hath descended forth from Thy hand, That our feet may swiftly carry out Thy command. So we shall flow a river forth to Thee And teeming with souls shall it ever be. In Nomine Patris, et Filii, et Spiritūs Sancti. -----The Boondock Saints

Definitely getting it - already reserved.

Nop, it does not have enough content for a full price purchase, When its cheaper, maybe.

I've bought plenty of games for my Wii, but I don't think I'll buy this game.
I'm not a big fan of sports games, and boxing doesn't strike my cancer (edit: lolwut? I mean 'fancy'). I just don't want to be swinging my arms all the time to play the game :P call me lazy. I'm sure it will be a great game, but I won't buy it unless I'm entirely convinced otherwise. I've bought HotD:OK, Deadly Creatures, Madworld, and Rune Factory this year, so you can't say I don't support games!!

You can play it with the NES configuration (holding the wiimote like a NES control) or with the Classic control (like the SNES version.

No I don't, it doesn't really interest me.

It would have done if it were proper motion sensing boxing like Wii boxing is, and had online.... but with neither it is not on my wishlist.

This game does have motion control.  Or is there something that I am missing?

"Motion Control (Wii Remote and Nunchuk controllers) Punch-Out!! uses the Wii Remote and Nunchuk controllers to simulate throwing punches. Use the Nunchuk to throw a left punch and the Wii Remote to throw a right punch."

Yes but it is just pure "waggle".

In Wii boxing you can aim your shots (once you get good at it)... in this your movements are exactly the same as pressing a button.... then you can make different punches by holding buttons and such, but that never interested me otherwise I would have bought other boxing games.
