What can I say I like the other series showin up lately ;)

my first was the first one, my favorite is hard to say, so i'll make a list:

1. Super Castlevania - my 3rd or 4th snes game, and i beat it maybe 100 times

2. Simons Quest - people hated it, but i liked the rpgness of it, at the time it floored me

3. Dawn of Sorrow - when i got a ds i went to EB and saw it, and had to have it.  brought back all the memories

how about you?

First was Bloodlines for the Genesis, my fave was Symphony of the Night for the Ps1

i have symphony of the night on my 360 and i keep playing other games, i feel ashamed

i gotta get 3 for vc, i only rented it, so i never beat it . ..

I remember playing the first Castelvania in the arcade. It was on Nintendo's PlayChoice-10 systems which were basically a NES. My favorite is eithor SOTN or Rondo of Blood for the Duo.

I played castlevania 1 first and i've played all the 2d castlevania games except the genesis one, i've been waiting for them to put it on vc. Absolutely love castlevania 1 and 3 and symphony of the night. I really think they dumbed down Castlevania 4 by giving more precise controls, it is just too easy.
Castlevania 3 had the perfect balance of being more advanced than 1 but not sacrificing the difficulty. As much as i like SOTN I can't look at it like the other games, it's way different and way easier for that matter.

it may suck in some ways, but for nes back then, it was on eof the first with atmosphere and npcs, and it should be appreciated for that
