Here's a question whats the point of having a headset if its nearly impossible to talk to someone(I have the ds one)?

Considering the DS already has voice chat support, I am sure it's coming.
No point in voting, IMO.

Maybe an online petition would work...

Voted. Might as well. I'm sure Nintendo reads IGN...perhaps they don't realize it's wanted...

I'm still confused by Bluetooth devices though. How does the PS3 support a Bluetooth headset and a controller at the same time? Is it possible for 4 players to play a game and also use headsets at the same time? Because Bluetooth only supports 7 devices, right?

So...headsets are mainly for up to 2 players I guess? Because I know I'd like to play games like Strikers and Brawl with a friend or two at home, while playing against a friend or two far away...all of us being able to chat...

Bet with disolitude: Left4Dead will have a higher Metacritic rating than Project Origin, 3 months after the second game's release.  (hasn't been 3 months but it looks like I won :-p )

why would you play online voice chat with friends over? that is so rude.

Uh...if I'm playing with one friend vs. 2 of my other friends online...I would like us ALL to be able to chat...

I've been chatting on the PC with many of my friends for years...hopefully the Wii will add support soon...we actually just used the PC headset to chat online during a Strikers game once, since our PCs were close enough to the Wii anyway.

I see Nintendo being cautious about this.... The last thing they want is their E rated game to have racial slurs spouting from it, and the parents don't understand why.

All they need to do is have the ESRB warning that saying "Rating subject to change during online play" or whatever that warning says. It says that in online DS games, it can do that for Wii.

Anybody care to answer my Bluetooth question though? I'm still curious.

@BenKennobi88 - The Bluetooth connectivity is all about local connection to the PS3. So each system can support up to seven total devices connected to it. Once you're online, it's up to the network to support all of your chatting which shouldn't be that difficult. So two PS3s could have eight people playing (four controllers each) and six chatting (three headsets each). I hope that helps.

Numbers are like people. Torture them enough and you can get them to say anything you want.
