There were literally only 2 games on XBLA that I wanted before today (Alien Hominid and  Castle Crashers) and today there are 4 more. This, Exit, Rez and Ikaruga are all going to be bought by me. Good job Microsoft.

I love horizontal shooters. This one looks odd, though. A chick in mid-thigh stockings floating in space? Maybe it'll be fun... Ikaruga Definitely, though...

It looks like a new version of that game with guys in jetpacks back in the day...

Lost Worlds or something it was called. Was a pretty fun game.

Out of all of these new announcements, Rez is hands down the biggest news for me. You know how expensive it is to buy that game now ? 100 dollars used...

Seriously? I got mine for $25NZ, which is about $15US.


Omega Five looks pretty cool. I hope Rez and Ikaruga have some type of online play/ leader board. And Treasure's DS countdown will finish tomorrow. I'm hoping for a shmup announcement to finish off this perfect week of gaming news.
