Now will they release it outside Japan? I hope so. 

Arhg... you were a bit faster. Lock my thread please. With current PS3 pace in Japan I'm sure they will export this title to US and Pal regions.

The time it takes place in is cool.

I never played the first two, but they looked cool. I don't remember hearing about the 2nd one coming out in the US, am I right? The first one was kinda foreshadowed by the big release of a certain next-gen console, me being one of those who lost sight of it by the time it came out. How were the first two games? How exactly do they play? Could someone give me a little insight on this matter please...thank you.

I am actually not happy that they switched to an older time. I was just playing Yakuza literally today and thinking a next gen one would be awesome and then it comes and it's not the same :(

Still will probably enjoy this. And this time if it doesn't come out here I can import cause of the PS3's region free games. I'm pretty sure I can figure out how to play this game without understanding the writing :P

wasnt Yakuza praised on how how great and emotional its story is? but at the same time reviewers say the combat gets repetitive?. if so playing it without understanding the story doesnt make much sense .

P.S. CKMLB, they'd have to release it outside of japan if they wanted to turn a profit on the game so don't worry about it not comming state side. 

Yakuza was, Yakuza 2 wasnt.
but i think 2 was more praised than the first one.
