In my opinion, NES and PS1 are the most importants.

However, SNES is still my favorite.

"Best", in my opinion, goes to the PS1. It was like a perfect storm of video-game technologies and truly set the stage for what the market would become. It did so many things right. It was the console where the industry really began to blossom in terms of depth and creativity. I would rate the NES a close second, though.
