Now if you think this title should be given to the SNES, PS1 or PS2, just give us some reasons and people will choose which one is better. Democracy is working this way...

 

I don't think you read my post clearly. I don't believe in the Best 100, 10, 5 ... etc BS because it's all subject to opinion anyway.

When I said PS,PS2 and SNES it was MY OPINION and I have my reasons they are not universal and for sure they are not facts ether for all I care I could say I like the PS2 because it's black !!!

Now as I said there is no denying that NES was great it had good games and it was fun to play for every body, but I still don't believe that it's the best ever because like I said it comes down to personal opinions and the closest way to find out the most preferred console is sales but I even think that's a wrong way to measure quality

Well it's your opinion, but majority of people enjoy those top 100, 10, 5...

If you don't like my choice you could at least try to find another console who beat the NES on my 5 criterions.

well I can't because most of them are special condition that allowed the NES to succeed but I agree with your 1-3 points

I agree with all points. The fact that it saved video game consoles from the 80s crash is enough to make it the best ever. Sure another company could have stepped in more, but Nintendo pretty much raised my generation on video games which allowed the spread of the joy of gaming to even younger generations.

It's hard to say, when I think of a console I say it is my favorite because they were such big hits. I loved the NES, I played it a lot but I played the N64 games more. I never played any NES game longer than a N64 one. Now when I want to play a game I want to play the PS3, there are many great consoles but I can't say which is the best.

it was good back in the day but i dont let nostalgia get in my way. Personally new games are better then they have ever been. My fav console is xbox 360 followed by PS3(with ps2 BC) followed by SNES and then the NES



I mostly play RTS and Moba style games now adays as well as ALOT of benchmarking. I do play other games however such as the witcher 3 and Crysis 3, and recently Ashes of the Singularity. I love gaming on the cutting edge and refuse to accept any compromises. Proud member of the Glorious PC Gaming Master Race. Long Live SHIO!!!!
