I've played re5, kz2 and uncharted over the last 2 weeks.

Kz2>uncharted>re5

The reasons are as follows:

1) kz2 has the best textures, lighting, animation, physics and on screen action to bring the graphics to life.

2) uncharted has a the biggest colour palette, the most varied art direction, better textures, greater detail on objects, buildings, flowers, plants etc and not to mention the best water effects ever seen on a console.

3) re5 only does 1 thing superbly and that is character models. The textures are a mix bag of great and very rubbish. Since the camera mostly stays in 3rd person it is hard to spot but the cutscenes give of away. The water looks average, on screen action is very limited and the lighting doesn't compare to kz2 or uncharted.

Even gears2 looks better than re5. However, for the best character models, yes, I agree, re5 kicks ass, but that's the only section where the graphics excell.

And, I just finished them both 4 times each in the same order, got Platinums for both and am a huge Biohazard fan. I am actually very disoppointed in R5's graphics. Compared to the high rez vids and trailers it is average. In game it is average.

Nothing comes close to Kz2 in graphics and sheer power on a console yet.

I own all consoles and a PC for gaming, ain't no silly, small fanboy. What has been said about Kz2's graphics and R5's is just common sense.

Why is uncharteds graphics rated so high? I bought a ps3 a month ago and bought uncharted because my friend recommended it to me. It is a great game but the visuals aren't up to re5, gow2 or KZ2's.

Who really cares what the games look like. Its about enjoying a game and playing it how you see fit. If any of you really cared about graphics, you would all be running PC's.

Uncharted gets praise for it's lush environments and amazing amounts of things rendered on one screen. Plus, it has amazing water effects and draw-distance. Beautiful game indeed, and IMHO better looking than R5, hands down.
