I hope this really a joke thread , it's a sad state of affairs when a game like Carnival Games is most anticipated.

The terrible grammar and spelling just ads to it.

I've played it and it could be fun for families with young children but I just found the controls frustrating.
With Wii-motion plus the game could be improved...I think! (or I may just be out of my head)

Having said all that I know a lot of children that really love this game so it's bringing pleasure to a large number of 'new gamers'

But the best part of all is it's sales and how it's wiping the floor with a lot of big titles on the Xbox360 and PS3, and that alone is why Carnival games causes me to smirk every time I see it.

you are an idiot. I'm guessing you have to be somebodies joke acount because I can't see how a normal person can be as wrong as you are all the time.  Carnival games metacritic score is 56 while MGS4 metacritic is 94.  That is nowhere near the same rating.  In fact, carnival games ratings is down near the crappiest end of spectrum.  As far as sales, yes there are close, metal gear solid has about .5 million more units sold, but it also came out 8 months after.  I'm done pointing out your your wrong information now. 

@jellyfishprince - don't be too put-off, we get a lot of sarcastic joke threads on this site (Rolstoppable is the master of them) and most people are taking this as one too.

There's nothing wrong with liking Carnival Games. Fact is millions do enjoy it. Just not the majority of people on forums like this.

I do doubt the sequal is anticipated though, I doubt anyone even knows it's coming. Especially not the people who would ultimately buy it. However, if and when it does release I'm sure it'll have good sales.

Hopefully they'll use WiiMotion + and really up their game. Afterall they made enough damn money off the first one, so a little more effort the second time out would be nice.

      I sometimes forget to think about things from that perspective.  It sounds like a game I should get for my nephew then, he likes mini-games and multiplayer games. 

Well I am trying to prove a point and it succedeed. Clearly from this thread the Wii and PS360 cater to different audiences. Not one person hear loves both systems. Everyone hear likes one more.  I just wanted to point this out because whenever sales discussions occur about PS3 and 360 theres always someone bringing the Wii in.

update: the game ITS MY BIRTHDAY has been the announced current project of take2 it will bea great game. they have announced it will feature birthday games in theplayful fun like carnival games. you can expect this to fill your need until carnival games 2 comes out!
