PS3 won best exclusives of 2008 award. So I guess they are saying there will probably be a repeat of last year. I can agree with that...even moreso this year.

OK...I will admit...The PS2 is a Phenom when it comes to how much it sold and clearly had the best software line since the combonation of the genesis and the super nintendo...but the fact is that MGS 4 sold under 5million..and Halo 3 sold almost 10 million...You think that the Hardcore gamer would of thought to get MGS 4 since it is such a critticaly aclaimed series and has a huge following, superb development and tight graphics....oh that's right....becuase the Sony platform is only over 20 mil that explains it less than massive debut...and yes 5 mil is alot..but over 1 billion of hours of halo 3 being played on Xbox live does not sound like xbox 360 accepted defeat sounds like they are focusing on the formula that is working for them.... and i know that everyone in the sony camp was shaking their heads at Microsoft for paying for exclusive DLC..but hey dont get mad at Microsoft get mad at RockStar...and count PS3 lucky that Capcom stated that all their games will be multi platform...even though their games perform average on PS3 and very well on 360...i frankly think Microsoft is gonna focus on keeping their gamer base happy and let the developer community do as it will....as for sony's succsess...only a little over 3 mill in japan ..that's pathethic...sure 360 is doing worse but they're main target is america..

one of the more common cooments nowadays....and i will try to stress again as always that it was bcoz of the price drop...and im sure that if the ps3 gets a price drop it will outsell the 360....and im sure that then ms fans will defend themselves like i do by saying that the ps3 winning bcoz of the price drop!!

Could we please stop arguing about this. The facts are that most games are no longer exclusive unless they are first party. That is the only reason remaining to chose a console. ( Yes, I know price too) No one will know the truth for another 15 years. Yes, Sony will probably beat Microsoft when it is all done. This is because the PS3 will probably be in service 5 years after the 360 is dead. But it doesn't really matter. I've said before, 20 million is the magic mark that gaurentees another console. All the consoles this generation have reached that. So why doesn't everyone just be happy with the fact they have 20 million people to play with instead of coming here talking about how their console is better than everyone elses?
