Tales of Graces new info (longest Tales game ever?)

Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Tales of Graces new info (longest Tales game ever?)

I just hope they fix the framerate and monster issues that ToS DotNW had. Killing a group of monsters, then having them respawn literally two seconds later really pissed me off. There's no sense of satisfaction or achievement after killing them. It's like they were artificially trying to make the game longer my having people run into the same monsters over and over again.

The more the system is like Vesperia's, the better.

Yeah, I finally have a sig.

2 seconds? It was a lot more than two seconds...oh, and different monsters appear each time, it's like a cycle. I didn't have any framerate issues.

This is becoming I must-have for me.

What he said.  I also did not have any noticeable framerate issues to the point where it actually made the game less fun...

I never noticed any kind of cycle, I was stuck trying to figure out a puzzle in one of the dungeons for a good 20 minutes.  I would stand there trying to figure out how to make this bridge fall down and the same monster would spawn over and over again.

You're right through, it's not 2 seconds, but it's less time than it takes to actually fight the monster. I did a test, and it took me 30 seconds to beat the mob, and 20 seconds for it to respawn.  To me, that's far too short.

Yuri = laid back lol. But I liked laid back characters.

 A killer isn't laid back.

Yuri truly isn't all that laid back. He knows when the time to be serious is, and every fight he is serious. He's laid back to things that he knows aren't really that serious but the other characters THINK are serious ^_^

As for length, if thats for the main story only, then heck yeah! If thats for everything including side quests and the such...boo. Vesperia and Symphonia are both longer....

GOTY Contestants this year: Dead Space 2, Dark Souls, Tales of Graces f. Everything else can suck it.

I could not have said it better myself.

I didn't notice at first either...but I went to Gladsheim (optional dungeon on second playthrough) I noticed certain monsters appeared after I fought the same respawn monster in the area certain times. Happens in other areas too, don't know about all areas though.

20 seconds isn't too short for me...for me it seemed too long (plus it's not like it's that hard to dodge a lot of monsters)...

@shadowblind

Well, we all know sidequests take the game up to 100+ hours, so...
