Famitsu said the same thing about it's difficulty

It's not too early to judge and I can confidently say that it's a very good game. The review is spot on.

I agree with his take that the difficulty will turn many people off. I love it because it forces you to get better or die... repeatedly. No crutches or hand holding here.

Are there trophies? =D

Damn, I never even gave this game a chance, I tend not to like WRPGs but IDK, I'm somewhat drawn to it a little bit now. Oh about the difficulty, this game is VERY difficult. I was seeing some guy play it live on justin tv and man oh man was that guy dying a lot. There is one part where ur walking on a bridge and every 30 seconds or so, a dragon will swoop by and flame you....pretty intense stuff.
