IMO I'd have to say that although resident evil was good, dead space was much better. I mean graphically Resident Evil was better, but, in terms of gameplay, I had a lot more fun with Dead Space, and found it more challenging.

havn't played dead space yet.....you guys think It's worth my $$ or not?

OT: RE5 is pretty good I have finished the campaign with a friend via CO-OP but can't really say anything about dead space yet cause havn't played it.

I too think, that DS is better game. As a lot of players, controls in RE5 were somewhat weird, in DS, it was much better. Graphicaly, RE5 is probably better, but not that much, only slightly better. Atmosphere is definitelly better in DS.

Prophecy: If you like such games, than yes, it´s worth it.

Dead Space is better. It's scarier (but still not scary enough) and has better gameplay.

ps I do have to go back and beat DS on veteran with all my guns so maybe that will kick it up a notch.

Absolutely. RE5 is a letdown from RE4. The gameplay is much better in Dead Space.

Definitely worth the $$.

Dead space is excercise in repetitiveness.

Reasident Evil is atleast a fun action game in coop.

Neither are "survival horror" but RE5 atleast can be fun.
So RE5 wins easily...now where is my copy of RE4?

lol funny thing I was having this argument with my friend last night. If we are talking about scariness, Dead Space has this one on lock. I still like RE5 better as a game though because of the co-op and story (characters).
