Forums - Gaming Discussion - Halo 3 or Killzone 2. Which has the better Multiplayer feature?

Hmmm pretty hard to say. Owning KZ2 and not Halo 3 (but after I get my 360, H3 will probably be the first game I buy =) ), but played it at my friends house quite a bit. I think I'm going to have to say H3, although that's not to say KZ2's multiplayer isn't great either.

halo 3 is easily the better game imo. k2 just doesn't do it for me. i want to like it but i can't. with halo 3, liked it, then really i hated it, but then got back into it and have continued to play it. there aren't many games that have done that for me. i'm not sure why, but it's probably the most complete shooter i have played save cod 4.

Halo 3!!!!

As non-gravity already stated. Majority of the responses will come from fanboys of either console who have not experienced the multi-player of the other. "I played it for 10min at a buddies and it wasnt my thing" shit does not count when grading a game, nor multi-player, so none of that please.

That being said, I have not played KZ2's multi-player so for me it is Halo 3. But of all the mulit-player games I (have) played this Gen nothing tops Halo 3's mulit-player.......nothing.

Forge brings an experience that no other multi-player has duplicated. My 2nd choice would be L4D.

Killzone 2 appeals far more to me personally, both for single player and multi-player. Other games like Warhawk (being able to fly in aircrafts) and Resistance 2 (8 player co-op) bring additional interesting teamwork multi-player aspects to the table.

Honestly, I think if Halo 3 wasn't a Halo game, but launched with other characters, name and more a standard level of marketing the title would have been rated much lower. I expected more from this game compared to earlier installments.

Honestly I think if Halo 3 was on the PS3 you'd be hyping it as the best game ever.

Also even if it wasn't called Halo 3 it would have still sold extremely well. The quality speaks for itself because people are still playing it more than a year after release.

@ Squilliam

I never bought Halo 2 for my PC, I think that says enough. I know now that I won't be buying Halo 3 for my PC neither.

^ Halo 2 for PC was a gimped port.

Im willing to bet had Halo 3 been called Geforce or something like that, it would have still sold over 3 million copies.

I hate being mean, but I have never seen you say anything nice for any console other than Sony's.

However squills he is alowed his opinion.

In MikeB's defense there is a line from The Matrix Reloaded I believe goes like this.

" Not evrybody believes what you belive Morpheus "

Morpheus " My beliefs dont require them to ".

:)

Halo is living off the success of the original Halo as far as I'm concerned. It's well liked because it takes about 30 minutes to get a good feel for the controls. So it's easy to jump into.

I prefer KZ2 over Halo 3. But Halo is better known. KZ2 is CoD-esque....Which Halo is not.

Yes, I did lots of times regarding many consoles, Coleco Vision, 3DO, Snes, DS (which I own), Neo Geo, Atari Lynx, Sega Game Gear, etc.

And for your information I didn't think the PS1 was that great, I preferred the Nintendo 64.

Actually I was one of the very few people who thought the Nintendo Wii would be a success for Nintendo, before the Wii launched on forums.
