Hi everybody,
So i tried to download the new COD:WaW maps thru Live but it says it is not available in your location. I mean seriously what am I suppose to do now.
BTW, I moved to Dubai. Also the problem has occured when trying to download videos over the Marketplace.

I am very pissed and i need some suggestions.

Not sure if there is anything you can do about that buddy. Maybe you could call customer service and see if this is expected.

Well, you can't do anything about it. Because they really aren't available in your region. Blame Microsoft.

Create a new profile that has an American hotmail account...Log into that one, and download the map pack.

Given the fact I've used the same strategy to download JP content to my America Xbox, it wasn't too bad.

so you made a japanese hotmail?

FYI, you'll need to spoof a valid American address & phone number (maybe?) to create a legitimate hotmail account.

I'd suggest using a store locator of your favorite American store - Best Buy, McDonalds, GameStop, whatever. That's what I did. Found a KFC in Tokyo :-p

 Really? this is awkward because all of the information on my account are based on my US info (my Gmail, my address in the US, and my credit card).

I feel that i shouldnt have created new account from the begining. I wish i kept using my old account.

Anyways, i will try to retrieve my old account (i wish it is still there) and log in.
