Perfect Dark w/ HD visuals, 360 controls & 16 player online = AMAZING, and day one buy for me. Goldeneye 007, Perfect Dark & Turok on N64 got me into FPS.



PREDICTIONS:

that's awesome for xbox owners, but ill stick to playin it on my Nintendo 64....if i didn't use the N64 controller while playing it wouldn't feel right.....anyway glad to see that more people get to enjoy its awesomeness

 ? Goldeneye will always be remembered more, but Perfect Dark was by far the better game in every way.

not agree. Perfect Dark was not so hot in comparaison of Goldeneye. Perfect dark has some useless levels. The Boss was insignifiant. Goldeneye all the way

Except Perfect Dark had better graphics, better multiplayer, better AI, more weapons, dual function weapons, alien weapons, great sci-fi conspiracy story, better enemy hit detection.......

Rare made Goldeneye, and improved on every aspect when making Perfect Dark.

One of my favourite games of all time. A friend gave me Perfect Dark zero and I'm afraid to play it, to be honest. I just don't think it'll be the same. Goldeneye and Perfect Dark by themselves were a mini golden age in FPSs in my opinion.

Whilst I admire the greatness of Halo, I see that as a different kind of FPS entirely. To tell the truth, I haven't been captivated by any FPS in quite the same way since these two brilliant games. Is it just me?

 

I couldn't agree more. I've played TimeSplitters on GC but it didn't feel the same. I'm still playing PD on 64 regularly with friends.

I think the XBLA vs PSN war would be over if Perfect Dark came to 360 with LIVE multiplayer and cleaned up graphics.

thats funny coming from somebody tha doesnt even own a xbox or a 360.
