So some have mentioned (Denis Dyak being one, I think) that this might be the last generation of multiple consoles; that in the future there will be one universal console. I think that is a ridiculous idea, but the concept made me think of a new game.
Design the Ultimate Console Launch
It is teh future! There is only one monolithic console and you control it. By some random chance you have inherited the reins to the greatest, most powerful console ever created. But what is a console without games? Here is where you come in. What 20 games do you launch the system with? You get to pick from all existing IP's (no new IPs allowed for launch). Create the most rounded, exciting, jaw dropping launch in the history of gaming. Good luck and don't blow it or the fanboys will be out for blood.
I like the idea of having the list evolve. Let's change the rules a bit. Rol's initial list is good. Now, just change three per turn. If you like how the list is, bold a game that you don't want to see taken off the list. It takes one move to unbold a game, another to remove it.
