I own only a Wii currently. I figure at some point I will pick up a 360 or a PS3. I have not as of yet as one is too pricey and the other has hardware issues.

If I had to choose today I would probably pick a 360 as I am wanting to replace PC gaming with a console and things like RTS are a big bonus for me. Then again with mouse and keyboard support on the PS3 if they get some RTS type games I think they would be a better choice for me. Most of the other titles that I am interested in are on both consoles.

I got my PS2 for 30 quid with 3 games =) , and it had only been lightly used as a DVD player, it was hardly used...

I have only a chiped PAL wii (very very happy). 100% I Don't going to buy any other console and yes, i'm a nintendo fanboy.

Just a Wii and PC.

My next purchase will probably be a DS or PS2 to replace my broken one.

Might get a PS3 or a 360 in the future. But not until they are more affordable(PS3), reliable (360) and after i get a HDTV.

WiiPC. I have all I need for now. If I can get used 360 for around $150 in a few years I might buy it. PS3 doesn't interest me at this point, if I want great graphics I'll stick a Geforce 8800 in my PC.

Had an Xbox 360 on launch, boring non original games although i liked LIVE service and the arcade and was 10th on gauntlet leaderboard.....but this didn't warrant me keeping it so i sold it.

If they reduced the core system low enough I MIGHT buy one for the xbox live arcade but I would't buy any full games.

I'd never buy a PS3 as I've never liked any games on Playstation systems, they are also unoriginal, apart from the initial ones that started on PS1.

cool, i haven't really looked properly yet but if you got one for £30 i should be able to find an option i like. was it a slim redisign or original?

I have a Wii, and that's all I'm getting this generation.

I usually don't buy any consoles over 200 USD, but my friends convinced me to buy one at launch instead of waiting (thanks friends!) The PS3 and the Premium 360 needs to hit 250 USD before I even consider them.

Now that I have a real job/sub projects, I don't have time for games anymore. I can play the DS on the train no problem. But at home I barely have time to play games. And I usually end up playing an MMO on my PC anyway.

Finally, Nintendo has been the only consistently good video game company. OK, the N64 was a dark time, but there were still really good games on that console. The Gamecube started figuring things out and effectively rebooted Nintendo. Now the Wii is finally killing the "Better Graphics = Next Gen" nonsense that's been dragging the game industry for 15+ years.



There is no such thing as a console war. This is the first step to game design.
