WiiPC for me...cheap and cheerful gaming.. don't have the time or the money to spend on anything else..and to be honest i don't feel i'm missing out on anything with these 2 systems combined..this is the way it's gonna stay..

only a Wii, and nintendo were lucky for that purchase really, i mean £180 is still a lot of money. i think it is worth it though with Wii sports. the only other games consoles i am considering buying are a DS [hanhelds never interested me till DS] might wait till it's a bit cheaper though. Also i'm considering a ps2, but i refuse to pay £100 for a 7yo system, so i'm gonna look for second hand see if i can get one for under £60. reasons i haven't bought the above are mainly money. reasons i'm not interested in ps360; money, don't like halo, never played either FF or MGS, lost interest in GTA after vice city, won't be owning a HDtv for at least 4-5 years, and only then if i can get proper [1080p] HD for under £200, i don't even own a dvd player to watch the 10 dvds i own on [other than laptop] so i won't be buying BR or HD-DVD. finally, i hope 3rd parties see sense, and have some imagination, and make games for Wii, but i had a total of 14 gamed for my GC before i sold 3 along with it, so i doubt i will get more than 20 games for Wii [non-VC] 3/4 of which will be Nintendo if 3rd party games remain mostly crap.

On topic, as a Wii and 360 owner, I'd like to say this:  The Wii cannot serve as my sole console.  The 360 cannot serve as my sole console either.  They each offer me things that the other does not, and together they provide me with practically everything I need in my gaming life.

Right now, I see no need to buy a PS3.  I have never cared for the MGS series, so MGS4 is not a system-seller in my book; I am not an RPG fan, thus FFXIII sways me not.  I've no plans to expand my current-gen console selection.  Perhaps later.  Not now.

I own a Wii,PS3 and 360....as for past generations,I´ve owned pretty much every system,with exceptions being 3DO,Jaguar,NeoGeo and Saturn...on a side note...not complaining or anything,but I get the perception it´s easier to find Wii only owners and Nintendo fans (or fanboys) on vgchartz than on most other sites...is my perception inaccurate or is there some truth to it?

At the moment I only own the Wii, it is a good console just lacking on quality games at the moment (in the UK). When SMG and MP3 come out it's going to be so good. It is the first Nintendo home console I have owned, previously i have owned the PS1 and PS2 (still own them). I am looking forward to playing mario on the big screen rather than the small screen (game boy). I will be buying PS3 because it has my favourite games (R&C, GT, FF, MGS ETC.) but when the price comes down a bit. Will never buy the 360 because i hate microsoft LOL.

I could see getting a PSP, a friend has been hyping it up. However, I am not big into portable entertainment.

The 360 is a certain want, with he upcoming RPG line-up I am very tempted. Oh and there is also Bioshock.

the Ps3 has no currents games that I burn for, only ones I wouldn't mind getting as a secondary titles. Don't take this as an attack on the quality of the current top-tier titles. Look at it this way- I suck at online multiplayer. Warhawk looks awesome, but I don't want to spend between 540- 660 to bounce from spawn point to spawn point. It's a welcome diversion from something like, say, FFXIII but not the primary reason I want the system.

the problem is getting the money. I would like to pay down debt and save up money for further education. both goals are not compatible with a PS360 lifestyle.

If I had all systems I would want way too many games. And I would rather games be made for a system than bastardized to work with a system *cough* Ubisoft*cough* Far cry: Vengance + Rayman ps2 = not stellar

Up to date i have owned all the Nintendo consoles, Wii included. I plan on getting the xbox360 sometime in the near future. The PS3? I'll consider buying one when the price drops to 1000zl, which would be about......350$. Currently, the PS3 costs 2500 zl.....wich is 892$.....So that basicaly means that i'll get a ps3 in 2-3 years time. And only if there will be a game that i must play. Right now even ff13 and mgs4 aren't helping.

I don't want to spend too much time on video games anymore, so I didn't buy any current gen console so far. But I'll get a Wii once Mario Galaxy (and, more important, Mario Kart) are released. I won't get any of the other two, though. There's literally not a single game I'd want on the 360 or PS3, no kidding.

 I will get an XBOX360 for Halo3, PGR4, GTA4, Assasins Creed, RE5 and others.

Not interested in PS3 at the moment too expensive hardware and software.  No AAA games(yet).  Not a huge fan of MGS (dont reckon it will stay PS3 exclusive) GranTurismo is likely to be great but I have played through the other GT games and this new one isnt going to offer me much more other than better graphics and some new cars/tracks!! There is nothing that excites me about PS3 yet.  Time will tell if developers take advantage of it but looks like there will be a strong focus on developing for XBOX and PS3 with few exclusives. 

I could go and buy a PS3 + XBox + HD tv + HD surround sound now.  But it's not worth it yet, I do not see value for money!  PS3 and XBOX are having a price war which will escalate soon both this year and next, globally.  Then I will get XBOX.
