I have a Wii and i'm not going to buy any other system this gen. Propably not even in the next, if it doesn't offer anything new. Besides, Wii will get enough games for me to play them 2 console generations.

Nintendo games sell only on Nintendo system.

So are you (we?) gonna make a count or something Turismo?

The trend seems like "Wii only" or "Wii + 360".

How many of you guys out there own just the wii, do you feel that you will buy another system or just stay with the wii, if you do plan on buying another system can you tell me why you have not purchased the other system yet. If games like FF stay with the PS3 and other series stay with the 360 would you buy the other systems to play these games or just stay with the wii even if the third parties don't pay attention to it like they did with the GC.

I have a Wii, and I may or may not buy an Xbox 360.  I haven't bought one yet because it's too expensive, and because of the RROD problem.  I was unlucky enough to have the graphics memory on my Wii start failing, and I don't want to buy another system that is likely to have problems; I'll wait until the price drops more and the "falcon" units have been out for a while to make sure they've gotten it straight.

Final Fantasy hasn't interested me much since it went big-budget, so it's no reason for me to buy a PS3.  I don't think the PS3 will ever have enough good games that I want, and I don't think it will ever be cheap enough until the PS4 is already out.  Gran Turismo 3 convinced me to buy a PS2 (after the price had come down), but GT5 is not "better enough" than GT3 or GT4 to get me to spend that much money.

I still may end up not getting a 360 if I have enough games that interest me on the Wii and PC.  The second half of this year is crazy for me with MP3, Galaxy, Brawl, Team Fortress 2, Portal, HL2 Episodes 1&2 (haven't played EP1 yet), and Guitar Hero 3.  I was very satisfied having 20 games for my Gamecube and never felt that it was lacking good games.  12 out of the 20 games I own are Nintendo-published.  That's more than two games a year that Nintendo puts out that I want, so third parties don't need to throw their whole weight behind the system.  So far, Nintendo is putting out more titles that I want for the Wii than they put out for the Gamecube.

I have a Wii and will most likely not buy another console. For the high graphic FPS kick i have my PC. I'm a GTA fan, but the main titles are normally ported to PC, I don't mind to wait (400 € min. just to play GTA is to much for me). If GTA get not ported to Wii or PC i might get a PS3/Xbox in the end of the generation (cheap), just to play the GTA titles.

I play a lot of games, but I can't really justify spending even more time and money on them. I think I'll probably stick with just my Wii.

If I were to somehow get more free time and more money, I'd be temped to get an X360. There are some very interesting titles for it.

You Spoony Bard!

From this gen? Just the wii currently, I know I want to get another system but with both of the PS3/360 being far overpriced for what they would do for me I can wait. I have no idea which one I want, because I am basically stuck between a choice of the 360 which has good games now, hardware problems, and requires me to pay even more money after I buy the stupid thing..in effect making it more expensive than the PS3. And of course the PS3 which is super expensive to start with, has barely any games now, will not have backwards compatability when I get it, offers a Blu-Ray option...that I don't honestly want, and seems to have the majority of the games that I would want (aka LBP, echochrome, and a small handful of the games the PS3 has that I won't already be getting for the PC.).

Right now I think both systems are bad deals, and considering it seems to be shaping up for one to sink and one to swim I am happy to wait until one of them is a good deal and is obviously the one who is going to be swimming.

Edit : PS - He asked for my opinions, so he got them, if you have a problem with them ...i don't care

Trust me, the backward capatability is not a real issue. I have been playing all my ps2 without many issues. Last games I played was mg3 and ff12, and they seem to do ok.

I've got a Wii and I imagine I will buy a PS3.  I was going to buy all three however i'll be moving in with someone with a 360.  The reason i haven't bought the PS3 yet is because there really arn't any games out or games on the near horizen that interest me.  Well that and I'm moving but at this point i'd probably just buy more Wii games.  As I tend to buy new systems when their is a software drought and theirs about 10-14 games I'd want on the Wii in the next 6-7 months.   Let alone  a few i'd pick up just for my GF.

I haven't liked a Final Fantasy since 6. (well or Final Fantasy Tactics)  I'm assuming the PS3 will get some good RPGS eventually though.  Eye of judgement might not suck but i'm not buying a system for it.  FPS arn't my bag i perfer PC ones, and now Wii ones even more because they just seem more fun.

Plus... it kinda feels like people are spending too much time on the graphics of PS3 games and not enough on the fun and the stage difficulty.  I expect this to change mid-next year though.
