Yes it would be closer to the truth... but we have no way of knowing how much closer.

Any game on the channel with fewer than 10,000 hours won't have data (so lots of Virtual Console and Wiiware won't have reached it) then there may be a select few games that may just not have data anyway (ie on the PAL channels Trauma Centre: Second Opinion was on the channel from the beginning, but it had no data until a couple of months later when it all suddenly appeared)

Then there are myriads of games not even on the channel (like RE4 in the US channel, although it is on PAL)

If you do collect the full set of all data (not certain how many games are on the US one, but it will likely be at least and hour and a half job) please PM me about them as I would like to see myself.

ok, i started on it, and it looks like it's gonna take a lot longer than an hour and a half for me lol. i've worked on it for about 45 minutes right now, and i have data for the wii channels and nes game lol. i've been collection it in notepad and using Currier font to make it easy to line everything up. also, if you haven't noticed, my shift keys on my keyboard are dead, so thats why i'm leaving out exclamation points and using [ and ] instead of parentheses for example. the numbers are per player play time/total play time. the per player play times are in hours.minutes, so 5.38 is 5 hours 38 minutes, and 3.2 in 3 hours 2 minutes [not 20 minutes]

For instance you don't need to get the hours per person in that odd hour.dot.minute format if you get the total sessions and sessions per person too.

If you want I could send you a template to use in excel or works spreadsheet format, which you could then modify (adding in games that are not on the PAL channels)

i don't have microsoft office on my computer, so i couldn't use it.

is there some freeware/shareware equivalent program you can think of.

Lol... you have to get that yourself by the painstaking process of going through the Wii calendar and looking at the "Today's achievements" envelopes.... The Nintendo Channel only collects your data, you can't find your own seperated.

Oddly enough I just recently updated the spreadsheet I have had running with my totals... I have it down as accurate as each day, but that spreadsheet was getting messy so I have a nice shiny new one.

Only including stuff over 10 hours... which happens to be all Wii games at least. Also the Nintendo and shop channel are so high specifically because I collect data from them each week.

Further to this though, if you ever enter into more than 10 "sessions" in any 1 day, it only tracks further time as "Other" rather than seperating it into games/channels etc. so there are a further 45 hours to split up between various things... I believe about 8-9 hours each go to Metroid Prime 3 and Mario Kart Wii.... some of the rest goes to other games, but much of it is for the Nintendo/Shop and Internet channel.

Oh, and the total amount of time spent with my Wii in a channel (it doesn't track GameCube games, or time spent in the Wii channel menu or the settings/memory menus) is 2495 hours and 46 minutes
