They did say that, when not even the Japanese release date was set. Now ARF is coming out in late Spring, almost Summer in Japan. 3 months of localizing sound good, but Rune Factory Frontier took way longer, so I expect it to arrive in November or around there.

I always found it strange that LKS was going to be released in the West first. I'd bet anything it will be released before the US though it will be revealed as a surprise in Famitsu anytime soon.
