I would say Final Fantasy X has the best ending. I simply liked how there was more to the story and there was meaning. That's when Square Enix released Final Fantasy X-2. Also Halo 3 has a ending that makes me think there is more 2 come!

Sorry for the triple posts folks! I'm on the BlackBerry. But like I said Final Fantasy X has the best and promising ending! Any JRPG owner or player should play this game for the ending. It's emotional and it gives a significant connection as a gamer with the character!

Bubble Bobble, after you've beat the 100 levels and the final boss twice you get the ultimate ending where you learn that friendship is one of the most valuable thing there is. You also get to use the sound test mode that features all the sound effects of the game! How cool!

Final Fantasy X and MGS 3 both have excellent endings.

But my vote goes to Chrono Trigger for it's multiple endings.

Super Mario Bros.

Pokemon Gold.. after battling Red.

I cried with resolve. I screamed in joy. I grinned with satsification.

In short, 200 hours of play all put to an end made this my most enjoyed ending ever.

Ico. I've enjoyed many game endings, but only Ico put such a massive grin on my face.
