thanks to all who have gave there input i really like to see wat others think b/c ive have different views of this subject i dont expect all to agree with me but ive been looking at the hw to sw ratios for awhile and noticed some things

the more hw the 360 sells the bigger the ratio becomes unlike wat others have posted about if the hw is so big than the ratio will be small will have to wait to see wen the 360 reaches 47mill if the ratio will be smaller than it is now

also the wii came out earlier in EU than the ps3 meaning that it should have a better ratio than the ps3 in that region this is not the case in fact the wii would be even behind the 360 if wii sports wasnt counted

ive also noticed that the 360 and ps3 ratios continue to grow at a much faster pace than the wiis and i ecxpect the ps3 to grow faster soon with games lik FF and GT5 and GOW3 coming out while most of the wiis heavy hitters have already came out im not a nin expert but will there be another mario kart wii fit ssbb and others for the wii this gen? how many other games do u know of that will come out for the wii that will sell over 6 mill?

Way to ignore everybody's arguments.

Who cares, anyway? Can't win 'em all, Besides, the Wii is still annihilating the PS3 like meat in a grinder in the categories that matter.

Considering PS3 had no noteworthy games the 1st year (Barring Resistance and Motorstorm).......

Come on, we all know its because wii owners are struggling to find new releases that they actually want to buy and play. And no, thats not trolling, thats opinion based on the fact the top 5 selling wii games are the same every week

finnaly a post i can relate to i didnt want to say it b/c im the thread creater and dont want to be biased but i think u hit the nail on the head with that one

The reason is simple

There has not been a true "must buy" Wii game since Wii Fit. There have been a lot of good games -- but nothing really earth-shaking.

That is because Nintendo put a lot of games out early in the life cycle of its system and it has left this time for third parties to try to establish their niche on the system.

I expect it to bring out the heavy weapons at E3 and have more games out there that people in the holiday season.

Two other thoughts to ponder:

1. The Xbox 360 is a software selling machine.
2. Most people don't buy a lot of games for their systems. Because if the normal tie rate is 10(+/- 2) -- think about how some of our purchases must be balanced out by others who don't buy as much.
