Usually I prefer the Japanese voices, but for Tenchi Muyo, since I watched it originally in English, the Japanese voices seem very weird.

I agree with you here. I remember as a kid i watched escaflowne, gundam wing and outlaw star in english dub. i rewatched these a couple years later in japanese dubs and the japanese voice overs sounded very strange. i guess whatever you hear first will generally sound better. but altogether i just think that sentences in japanese sound so much more cooler then in english

 

That's because if English is your first language, you can easily tell when there is bad voice acting. In Japanese... Your not as used to it so it sounds almost....decent...

watched the first episode , more action oriented it seems which is ................ GREAT.
Liked the opening and the closing songs too.
for the guys who are watching it for the first time , u may be lost , wait more and u will know the story better :D

 That's what I've been telling some of my friends who are worried about watching the same things for 20 something episdoes. I figured they would get through a bunch of the earlier things faster. Despite being a bit fast, as long as you don't try to look basing it on the other version, I think it's still holding up alright.

yep just watched the third episode and your right, they are moving extremely fast. I think the churst arc lasted like 2 episodes in the origional series and they cut this one down to one.... can't wait to see what they add to the story now since they're making more room for new episodes

lol, this ep was a lot more sillier than the original's. I loved it when Ed ran towards the guards and he made that huge axe thing on his arm and they all went "WTF?" - that was pure XD

Yeah, they did cut it down. What I think they'll do is that they'll make the beginning go fast but then have the middle be long.

So Shou Tucker and Nina in the next episode...sad ep coming up.

 

can't wait to see how sad it will be this time .

 

hmmm... I still find the "shortie" jokes funny :D

just watched episode 4 and yes it was a very sad one. they managed to cram it into one episode however... but still very sad. poor nina! however they did explain tuckers motivation a little bit better this time around tho.

also i noticed it seems they're skipping over the episodes with the fake elric brothers in the mining city as there was reference to it in this episode
