QFT. If the only thing on the front page is Nintendo games, then people may get the impression that the site is biased towards Nintendo.

u are exaggerating a bit, but I know what you're saying. Not too long ago every game on that list was a Nintendo game and I found it real annoying. Seeing things like that makes you think there is no diversity here.

The only reason FF7 and Halo are so high up is that someone made a bajillion different accounts and raised the scores.

i second, or third, that. @twestern, this is a legitimate complaint(though the whole best MP is jumping the gun) @cadence, exactly his point. i started ignoring the ratings a while back, there's an obvious bias there.

That would cut the problem I think.  I think those game get only voted down, so they are not on the highest ranked list. Just make a ranking for every console, and show random 2 or 3 of them on the frontpage, and there is no more reason for fanboys to vote other games down. And a lot of people here say, it is hard to compare games on diffrent consoles to each others, so there that would make sense.

Leo-J, someone who leaves rude comments and has flamed almost every Nintendo game in the top 50 of the ranking section really has no room to complain.

Just because you really like a game or think its good doesn't mean its going get the score you want.

Furthermore, what do you purpose be fixed? The opinions of the majority? Someone young as you might have a hard time understanding that there were great games long before the PS3 and PS2 and many classic franchises which happen to coincidentally be Nintendo in turn become some of the most beloved.

Incidentally if the ratings were all in favor of Sony games instead of Nintendo would you still be complaining of unfair bias?

 Agree. On the front page, instead of showing the top gaames, you could have the top game from each company.
