Tekken Tag was great then Tekken 4 and was crap and then Tekken 5 put it back to great again

I agree with the Twisted Metal and CoD series as great examples. Can't really think of any Nintendo examples. Someone listed Metroid but only because they didn't release any Metroids for a certain time period.

Call of Duty. First 2 game were great. 3 was finest hour were pretty poor. Then 4 brought the series back into the light.

That's because Nintendo doesn't make crap games. And apperantly a lot of people on this forum hate them for that.

Hmm, I can think of a future comeback for you guys. Pretty much all star wars games suck hard(unleashed, clone wars,etc), but we all know that there's going to come another game with wiimotion+ support(and if they don't make one, then they're even dumber then I already thought they were). It will be awesome and it will be one of the biggest comebacks ever.

Simon the Sorcerer needs a good comeback game after the amazing Simon the Sorcerer 2.
3 was atrocious, and 4 looks pretty bad too.

Kings Quest 5 was a great comeback after Kings Quest 4 lost some of the franchises luster, then after 6 it all went bad again.
