Hm, afraid I'm gonna have to agree with Khuutra. Laters.

This post pretty much sums up the entire thread.

I don't like the colour of those bricks!

Tease.

I want answer to my question!

MikeB predicts that the PS3 will sell about 140 million units by the end of 2016 and triple the amount of 360s in the long run.

I already answered your question on Pg. 13, and I bet $500.00 on each of the two conditions you set on the other thread. I bet $500.00 that both FFXIII and GT5 will release in Japan this year and that all three games will be release in Japan by July 1, 2010.

Heavens to Murgatoids.

I don't think that people are at all threatened by the PS3. I think the main problem is the PS fanboys have a tendency to be rude and condescending. They act as if the PS3 is still the system leader, demanding exclusives for a system that isn't selling particularly well, and spamming message boards with how other systems will fail and theirs will be successful. All this childish behavior has just made people turn against the PS3.

I also think saying that the PS3 will not be the market leader is plain reality, or at least very likely, and not evidence of a society threatened by the PS3.

And 360 fans are 100% PERFECT. Only PS3 fanboys are bad all others are perfect and good.  You might wanna watch the theards from 2007 which supposed to be ''death of PS3'' year.

Sorry dude but all the fanboys are are doing what you said up there.

+1! Those bad Sony fanboys... tsk, tsk, tsk!

Tease.

what was this thread about again? oh yes, threatened by the PS3, well, I'm personally only threatened by the price tag of the PS3, by the failure rate of the 360, and by the underpowered white CD cases that is the Wii, other than that, I'm alright.

It's true that 360 owners are afraid of PS3 success.

First simply looking at vg chartz: From November 2005 through march 2008 (2 and 1/2 years) the Xbox 360 sold 17,630,322 units. After two and a half years the PS3 is at 21,553,909. So let's do the math: in 2 1/2 years the PS3 sold 3,923,587 more units then the 360 did in 2 and a half years. Something to remember X-Box fanboys: The 360 did not come out in 2006, it came out in 2005. Now the real horror comes from knowing that the PS3 has ALWAYS been more expensive then the 360. In fact the 360 is currently HALF the price of PS3. But is it selling double what the PS3 sells? Not even close.

More horror is knowing that the PS3 is more powerful then the 360. We have already seen 3 games: Uncharted, MGS4 and Killzone 2 display graphics that could never be done on 360. And of course there's bluray. Now many X-Bots will try and dismiss bluray and say that digital downloads are the wave of the future. Why weren't digital downloads the wave of the future when Microsoft was trying to sell you a $150 HD-DVD add on for the 360? A Bluray movie can be up to 50 GB and 400 GB disks are coming this year and 1 TB disk by 2011. Do you know how long it takes to download 50 GB of information? A hell of a lot longer then some MP3 on Itunes. What's that compression? No thanks. Even if downloads are the wave of the future PS3 wins again. My PS3 has a 350 GB HD in it. How much did it cost me? About half of what you paid for you 120 GB proprietary 360 HD. Developers are struggling now to fit games like Tekken 6 on 1 DVD. Now you see the genius of Sony spending money on first party software showing off the power of PS3 instead of MILLIONS of dollars on- *snicker*- DLC for games I cared about two years ago. X-Bots say "but when the PS3 outsells the 360 it won't matter because the X-box 720 will be out". PS3 fans aren't worried about the PS4 or the X-Box 720- PS3 is the future NOW, and the PS3 will have a shelf life of at least one, but more likely 3 years more then 360.

And then we can get into Japan where all those exclusive JRPG failures most definitely will not equate to more Japanese support. In the west the 360 is winning. But not by much. Yes Halo has helped keep the Bible belt on lock. But everywhere else the preference is split down the middle.

And always, ALWAYS remember that Microsoft has FIVE TIMES the money that Sony does. So to be beaten by a company that has one fifth the recourses that you have two console generations in a row would be nothing less than utterly humiliating.

Yes, but dont forget that Sony have FIVE TIMES the money that Nintendo has.

But then again Sony did beat Nintendo 2 generations in a row.

You know, that doesn't mean much, they have a lot more divisions than Nintendo does too because they are an electronics company, it's not like they'll pour every single penny into video game development when they have other things to worry about too so the budget issue isn't even realistic with the way you put it, same goes for MS. I hate you both! AHA!

Source it. Nintenedo's war chest is enormous and their market capital is also big.
