is Forza 3 really announced before? and why would you buy another GTA IV DLC? man .... the game itself is not really worth it.

The 360 linup is weak? They focused to much on trash DLC that nobody wants. Fallout 3 DLC anyone? There is the answer to all of your questions.

Do 360 fans in this thread believe that a game announced in June at E3 will ship before december?
Uncharted 2 alone is better than the 360 fall line up. Heavy Rain looks unreal and will not be a "haze". New R & C looks good. We don't know anything about MAG though.
BTW as far as i know the only exclusive game confirmed for this fall on 360 is HALO ODST.
Personally I think Gears 2 which was released within a year of announcement was rushed. Didn't it have a huge amount of glitches which were patched over and over again ? ( Still a great game though)
MS heavily relies on 3rd party exclusives because they don't have the first party strength that Sony does.

Easily. That lineup woud crush Sony's lineup. Sony only has Uncharted 2 as a big game in 2009, the rest are quite small games (Infamous, another Ratchet and Heavy Rain). Even half of the X360 lineup u listed will b enuff against Sony.

The problem is not 2009 at all, but 2010 with God ov War III and GT5.

E3 hasnt even been yet. Wait till then to decide. I'm guessing another 3-4 titles to be added to that.

Haha... out of those Alan Wake, Forza and Splinter Cell haven't even been assigned release dates. That leaves you with 2 games and one DLC

Your right about Forza and Splinter Cell. Alan Wake has been preliminary slated for holiday 09.

Regardless. Does everyone here think that M$ would really go into the holidays with just Halo 3 ODST?

My guess is

Halo 3 ODST

Alan Wake

KI 3 ( I have this feeling people, please let this feeling be right)

and Splinter Cell.

 

I believe M$ will leave Forza 3 1-2 months before GT5. And they will use Mass Effect 2 to counter GOW3 probably. They have done weel with timing there games against Sony.

Sure, you won't see footage of Modern Warfare 2 until June, and that's going to outsell every PS3 exclusive.

No, Uncharted is another Resistance/Motorstorm, excessively bundled, then the sequel tries to stand on its own and fails massively.

Heavy Rain has bomb written all over it, it's a Quantic Dream game and it's a 1st party PS3 game, both of which have a history of underperforming at retail.

If anything MS 1st party is well ahead of Sonys, Forza is a bigger series than anything Sonys launching this year and Halo is in a league of its own, that#s the PS3's biggest problem. A lack of blockbusters, it's mostly fillers, Sony just likes to pretend it's blockbuster.
